This is the first of many episodes on our first treehouse construction attempt. In our minds the final product will be a small 2-story treehouse with a deck surrounding the first floor and a smaller deck extending from the second floor as well. The first floor of the building will be 20-30 feet off the ground, about 20 feet at the uphill side and 30+ feet on the downhill side.
